Intel and Windows
have worked together for decades to create the “gold standard” of
today’s PC design, functionality and speed. The maximum capability and

operating system working in conjunction with the processors, memory and
motherboards created by Intel. This long time cooperation between these
two global leaders results in what is known as a “WinTel” system. All
other manufacturers are left to attempt to copy or emulate this
performance, functionality and compatibility engineered by Microsoft and

Finally, it is very difficult to "price compare" computer systems.
There are so many variables that need to be taken into consideration in
an effort to make an accurate comparison. Processor speed,
processor cache memory, processor core count, motherboard bus speed,
memory type and speed, hard drive speed and throughput... the list is
endless and nearly impossible to find two different brands that even
come close to matching so we'll leave it at this:
