Beyond The Basics
Security Tracks goes beyond the basics of
automatically recording well-being checks in real-time logs and reminding staff of overdue observations. Here are just
some of the additional features of this comprehensive system.
 |
Duress
Button:
Each Trackpad is equipped with a duress button that can immediately
alert the Detention Center Control Room and all other Trackpads
in the system to summon assistance. The duress button can only be activated if an identified staff member is at that location... avoiding false
triggers and inmate pranks.

Alerts and
Logs: In addition to the automatic logging of
well-being checks that is at
the heart of the Security Tracks system, a vast
array of additional logging is also available. Eight function keys on
each Trackpad can be programmed to provide supplementary
logging capabilities.
These keys can be set to act as either alerts or log entries.
An alert causes a tone and message to flash in the Detention Center
control room monitoring panel and, optionally, to all other
Trackpads. A log entry simply enters the programmed
notation into the Security Tracks log. Alert
messages might include "ASSISTANCE REQUESTED" or "CLEANUP
NEEDED". Log entries might record such events as
"MEAL DELIVERED", "TAKEN OUT TO EXERCISE", or
"MEDICATION GIVEN". These specialized keys can either be
system wide alerts or log entries, or specific to each
location. A facility might have several of the function keys that
generate the same results regardless of what location they are entered from,
but might have several keys that are specific to each location. For
example, if your facility had a "suicide watch" in an isolation
cell, those keys can be programmed to log the various notations that are
required in that situation.

Manual
Supplemental Log Entries: In
addition to the automatic real-time logging of Security Tracks and
supplemental logging from the function keys of the Trackpads, authorized
personnel can also make supplemental log entries from a computer
connected to the system. These supplemental log entries become
part of the same Security Tracks logs and can be used to further explain
or document events of the facility. |
 |
Staff
Mapper: The Security Tracks monitoring
panel shows the
location of staff members within the Detention Center facility. As
jailers make their rounds, the monitoring panel displays where they are,
providing an additional layer of security and awareness.
|
 |
Time Clock:
An
additional Trackpad can be added to the system to function as a time clock
where staff members punch in and out of their shift. If the time clock
option is installed, staff members are reminded to return to the time clock
and "punch in" if they start making their rounds without having
"clocked in" for
their shift. |
 |
Searching and
Reporting: A variety of searching and
reporting capabilities provide a wealth of valuable views of the extensive
data collected by the Security
Tracks system. Reports and
graphs by staff member, cell block, overdue checks, activity type... such as
alerts, log entries, duress button activations, etc. can be produced by the
day,
week, month, quarter or spanning any specific date-time range. These
reports can be valuable management and evaluation tools in addition to
providing the supporting evidence in refuting any accusations or litigation.
|
 |
Redundancy and Self
Protection: A variety of equipment
and software components are built in to the Security
Tracks system to maintain the integrity of your logs.
Mirrored data recording, automated backups and
re-buildable redundant file maintenance all work together to ensure the
safety and integrity of your Security Tracks logs. Controls are built in to the system to immediately alert the
Detention Center Control Room and, optionally, all other Trackpads the instant any one of the checkpoints
goes inactive for any
reason such as a cut wire or smashed keypad.

And So Much More...
Many
additional features and capabilities can be incorporated in to your Security
Tracks system. You can add our Access
Control Module which not only
controls the opening and closing of doors, but logs when doors were
opened, who opened them and if a particular door is currently open or closed.
Our Inmate Logging Module carries the Security Tracks logging detail
down to the individual inmate level, providing an even greater level of
security, control and documentation. Other options can also be integrated in to the system to control evidence room
access and logging, lighting, camera control and a wide variety of other features. |
